Feedlots are professional purpose-build facilities that use complex systems to feed cattle to produce grain fed beef. This module will introduce you to the grain fed beef production system and provide background on the product's unique attributes. 

 

Completing this course will:

  • Teach you about the Australian lot feeding industry.
  • Provide an understanding grain fed beef attributes.
  • Help you to understand the complexities of the grain fed beef production system that cares for cattle and the environment.
  • Provide an insight into feedlot career pathways.

 

This module will take about 30 minutes to complete.
