Description

As input costs continue to rise and global demand for sustainable agriculture intensifies, lot feeders are looking at ways to extract greater value from existing operations. One of the most underutilised assets in feedlot systems? Manure and effluent byproducts.

This was a desktop study to determine the current volume and management of feedlot manure, feedlot and transport effluent. The report also includes a life cycle assessment and benefit cost analysis of global technologies for processing manure, revealing where economic and environmental gains might be found - and where business as usual may still be the most viable option.

This webinar will:

  • Answer typical questions around managing manure

  • Provide guidance on deriving value from the byproduct

  • Present the facts on manure management to debunk common misconceptions
